What is a reputation management platform?
A reputation management platform helps you build a strong online presence by leveraging "reviews" that will increase your credibility with customers and potential customers. A good reputation management platform should allow you to easily and automatically solicit reviews (hint - the language you use to do this matters. Our templates ensure the best possible outcomes) from current and future customers, respond to reviews and then post them wherever customers and future customers will see them. Google search LOVES reviews and businesses that get and respond to reviews will most likely rank higher than those who do not.
Why is reputation management important?
Over 90% of customers looking to buy from local businesses use Google search and over 98% of them read online reviews before buying. A reputation management platform helps you build credibility with customers and future customers by leveraging reviews as "social proof". Reviews and review responses also help boost your search engine optimization - fancy words for increasing your online search visibility and ranking thus attracting more customers.
Do you offer FREE setup assistance?

How long does it take to get setup?
The time it takes to setup varies depending on the plan type and what your goals are. For reputation management it's not unusual to have the tools configured and ready to go live in one day. However, A2P Compliance for text messaging can take up to 3 days. Curolux is not in control of this process or timeframe.

Does this platform work with my cell phone?
Yes! In fact, a cell phone is required for our Missed Call Text Back feature and to receive text notifications. Here's how it works: We provide a business number (see "variable fees" under FAQ for details). You make that number visible on your website, Google Business Profile, Facebook and where ever you are advertising. Via the platform, the business number is associated with your cell phone number. Using our workflow logic, whenever a prospect or customer calls your new business number and you're unable to answer it or it goes to voice mail, the system sends a text message to the caller. It could say something like "Hey, sorry we missed your call. How can I help?" or "Hey, sorry we missed your call. I see you were trying to book an appointment for a free quote. Here's a link to our calendar. Feel free to pick a day/time that works for you".
Do I need the Artificial Intelligence features to manage my reputation?
No! The AI features provided in this application are all created to increase convenience and are optional! They certainly will make the process easier and in some cases automated, but overall, you do not need to use the AI features to manage your reputation.
How does the AI Reviews work?
There are two AI options: Suggestive and Auto-Pilot.
Suggestive mode: Helps you compose personalized and genuine review responses. It provides suggestions based on the review content, making it easier to engage with your customers authentically. You will need to manually send the response once it's composed.
Auto-Pilot: Designed for efficiency. It allows you to automate the review response process, saving you time while maintaining a professional and personalized touch. With Auto-Pilot Mode, you have the power to:
- Customize automated responses based on star ratings.
- Define the wait time before sending each response.
- Add a personal touch with review response footers, including thank-you notes or your business name.
- Tailor auto responses for specific sources, such as Facebook and
Google.
Will listings management improve my business's search engine rankings and reputation?
Yes, listing management can improve your search engine rankings. By ensuring that your business information is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date across various online directories, searching engines are more likely to trust and favor you business in a search result. This can lead to better digital visibility, higher search engine results, and increased engagement with online and in-store traffic. In addition, having accurate listings improves your online reputation simply by having consistent information about your business listed in many online directories.
How do I get listed in a Google Map-Pack?
First, claim your Google Business Profile listing. Next, you'll provided Google with accurate business information. Managing the timeliness and completeness of your customer review responses is also important.
Are there any variable fees?
Yes, and we provide $35 each month in complimentary credits to help offset the charges. Here are the current variable fees:
SMS Texting: $.0395/Segment $10 will give you about 200 outbound text messages
Email: $.0069 per email sent $10 will give you about 1470 outbound email messages.
AI ChatBot: $.06 / message $10 will give you about 165 chat responses
AI Review: $.24 / AI Review Responses $10 will give you about 40 review responses.
AI Workflow: We provide the first 100 executions for free. After that, $.039 / GPT execution $10 will give you about 250 GPT executions. (NOTE: Workflows do NOT require AI to be effective. AI provides more robust workflows that can sense review response sentiment such as positive or negative and compose responses accordingly)
If you purchase a phone number (for missed call text back) via the platform, you will be able to optionally make and receive calls from our mobile app. Making and receiving calls via the app allows each call to be optionally recorded as well as marked in the customer records for future reference.
Below are the fees associated with these functions:
Phone Numbers: Local numbers $1.15 and Toll Free are $2.15 each per month. (required to send text messages from the application)
Outbound Calls: $.07/minute $10 will give you about 145 one minute calls
Receiving Calls: $.0425/Minute $10 will give you about 235 one minute inbound calls
A2P registration is required for all outbound text platforms and costs about $20 (one time) per phone number. This number must be purchased within the Curolux platform in order to integrate it with all of the text/SMS features.
NOTE: For missed call text back, the system provided number will forward to your main phone number. If that call is not answered or it goes to voice mail, a missed call text back text message will be triggered and send to the caller. The messaging is completely customizable as well as follow-up text messages.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, you may cancel a monthly plan at any time. For annual plans, you may cancel anytime before the end of the current term. We do not provide refunds for any reason.
Do you provide full service management for your platform?
Yes, if technology is not your thing (we get it!) and you prefer to allow someone else to manage the platform for you, we can do that for you for a small fee. We offer full service platform management in 5 hour blocks for $250 / Block.
Do you provide business consulting services?
Yes! For each purchased plan above, we provide 5 hours of business consulting services as well as free setup and onboarding consulting. For additional business consulting services, check out all of our business consulting services here.
Does the chatbot or AI chatbot work with any website?
Yes! If you have edit access to the website or webpage, you can embed the chatbot code into it. If you need assistance with this, Curolux is happy to help!

What publishers/directories does your Listings Service use?
More than 200 publishers globally, including Google, Facebook, Bing, Apple Maps, Amazon Alexa, and Yelp. Our listings are provided by Yext Listings. We've managed to negotiate a HUGE savings for YOU that is way under retail price of Yext.
Are local listings and local SEO the same thing?
Local SEO is a broad strategy of optimizing online presence to rank higher in local search results. Local Listings, used to improve local SEO, are platforms where businesses can create and manage their profiles for local visibility. Local listings, by default, can improve your local search performance.
Can you suppress duplicate listings?
Duplicate suppression is the process of identifying and removing duplicate listings on third-party sites. Yext listings automatically identifies all potential duplicate listings and allows you to suppress duplicates in the platform at any time. Yext suppresses duplicates based on each publisher's best practices. Whether it's referred to as suppressing, deleting, or merging, any duplicate listings that are suppressed are removed from search results and will no longer be discoverable.
